The parent organization of Ossia (along with its modern instrument sibling group, the Riverdale Ensemble) is Riverdale Concert Productions Inc., a not-for-profit corporation registered in Ontario (Ontario Corporation No. 1635816).

Various opportunities exist to assist the group in its endeavours to create music and bring it to the public, through sponsorship of concerts, artists, recordings and tours, corporate advertising, participation on our Board of Directors and volunteer work.


Concert and season advertising and sponsorship options
 

Programme advertisement (per concert):

price-   $100

includes- 
- business card size advertisement (1/4 page) in concert programme
- recognition as sponsor on our website and link to sponsor’s website
- 2 complimentary concert tickets
 

Ticket package (per concert):

price-   purchase of concert tickets totalling at least $200 
            (e.g., 10 adult tickets at $20 each)

includes- 
- business card size advertisement (1/4 page) in concert programme
- recognition on our website and link to sponsor’s website
 

Artist sponsorship (per concert):

price-   (negotiable, depending on fee for a particular artist)

includes- 
- business card size advertisement (1/4 page) in concert programme
- recognition on our website and link to sponsor’s website
- 2 complimentary concert tickets
 

Title sponsorship (per concert):

price-   (negotiable, depending on expenses for a particular concert)

includes- 
- full page back cover advertisement in concert programme
- recognition and sponsor’s logo on concert posters and flyers
- prominent sign in lobby of concert venue
- recognition on our website and link to sponsor’s website
- 10 complimentary concert tickets
 

Season sponsorship (all Ossia and Riverdale Ensemble Main Series concerts):

price-   (negotiable, depending on expenses and number of concerts)

includes- 
- full page back cover advertisement in all concert programmes
- recognition and sponsor’s logo on all concert posters and flyers
- prominent sign in lobby of concert venues
- recognition on opening page of our website and link to sponsor’s website
- mention of sponsor’s name in all publicity
- 10 complimentary tickets for each concert
- opportunity to nominate one member of the Board of Directors of Riverdale Concert Productions Inc. for one year
 

Guidelines for submitting advertising copy and funds-
- Ad copy can be either clear printed material (black and white preferred) or emailed graphic file
- Deadline for receipt of ad copy and payment is two weeks before concert date
- Cheques should be payable to “Riverdale Concert Productions Inc”.

Sponsorship of recordings

A number of recording projects are planned for the next couple of years.  The economic realities of present day marketing of Classical music recordings mean that such projects (even if the CDs are to be distributed by established record companies) need to be financed independently, at least as far as the mastering stage.

Partial sponsorship of a recording allows a sponsor's name and logo to appear on the tray card of a CD, and further mention in promotional materials.

Sponsorship of tours

Touring, both within Ontario and internationally, is at present a small part of Ossia's activities, but is expected to become a larger part in the future.  Under current conditions of reduced government support, transportation costs incurred in touring are prohibitive unless defrayed by sponsorship.
